Create Faux Mulberry Paper From Tissue Paper

mulberry-paper-technique

This is a simple and fun technique to cheaply add some texture to your scrapbook pages, tags, and cardmaking projects. I always save gift bags and also the tissue paper if it isn't ripped up, and this is the cheap stuff from the Dollar Tree. I used Inkadinkado's Gem Stone Insect Stamps for the butterfly, Red Dragon Embossing Powder,  a sentiment stamp, Thinking of You, and 3 black mini brads.

The card background is white, then I have a piece of red cardstock that is 4.25" x 3.75", and another white piece of cardstock that is 4" x 3.5". For details, you can watch the video below, or download a pdf ebook here: Create Faux Mulberry Paper With Tissue Paper.
